Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012!

The year that has passed, 2011, has been the most incredible for EAZY TRAVELER, which this year finally had its own domain (

Aside from continuing to contribute stories for SMILE of Cebu Pacific Air, I’ve begun writing for Travel 3Sixty of AirAsia as well. My feature on Myanmar’s Inle Lake even landed on the cover!

Abroad, we chased some of the most violent volcanoes in Indonesia; survived the streets of Kolkata, picked tea at the Himalayan foothills of Darjeeling, and cruised down the Ganges River in northern India; and immersed in the exotic wonders of Myanmar

Back home, we reveled at the festivals of the Black Nazarene, Sto. Niño de Tondo, Dinagyang and Kadayawan in Manila, Iloilo and Davao; we visited the ancient fire mummies of Benguet, the whalesharks of Cebu, the traditional musicians of Maguindanao, and the dreamweavers of Lake Sebu; and we savored the best seascapes in the country: El Nido, Hundred Islands, Pagudpud, Siargao, Sarangani and Tawi-Tawi.

To the great friends I’ve made online and on the road, a big THANK YOU for joining the roller coaster ride. Cheers to yet another year filled with travel and adventure – HAVE AN AWESOME 2012 EVERYONE!
