Hop on a tram for only MYR 2 to explore the sights of Kuala Lumpur the entire day! |
After visiting Kuala Lumpur City Gallery, why not explore the city by bicycle or tram for a fun and eco-friendly tour of Kuala Lumpur?
From the KL By Cycle Centre at the Gallery, tourists can now rent bicycles and follow a designated bicycle route through the city’s natural and historical sites. The route takes you between two zones: the heritage zone in the vicinity of Dataran Merdeka (Merdeka Square) and the nature zone at Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park – the city’s oldest park. There are more than 20 landmarks and sites along this route, including the National Mosque, Islamic Arts Museum, KL Bird Park, National Textile Museum and KL Railway Station. Download the PDF brochure here for the route map and other information about the KL By Cycle Programme.

Rent a bicycle to see the city at your own pace – from Merdeka Square to Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park |
Like the bicycle tour, the tram route shuttles tourists between nature zone and heritage zone, stopping in front of the KL City Gallery. It operates between the hours of 9:30 AM to 11.30 AM and 2:00 PM to 4 PM on weekdays. On weekends, it runs between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM. The full day ticket rate for the tram ride is just MYR 2.00 and this allows tourists to hop on and hop off as many times as they like within a day. Hear the driver ring the golden bell to inform you when the tram is taking off!
