The Noble Cebu: Elegant Condotel along Trendy Banilad Road

The Noble Cebu is a hotel located within Grand Residences Cebu.

One of the newest hotels in Cebu City, The Noble Cebu opened only last June 2022. This contemporary accommodation offers elegant lodgings within the uptown neighborhood of Barangay Kasambagan. Housed within the condominium complex of the Grand Residences Cebu, it offers short-term guests a slice of township living in the “Queen City of the South”.

Situated along Gov. Cuenco Avenue – also known as Banilad Road – the hotel is strategically located next to trendy commercial complexes like Crossroads and 88th Avenue. The condominium complex is also a short walk away from Cebu I.T Park, a popular business district where you can find Ayala Malls Central Bloc, restaurants, bars, and food markets.

Aside from a signage at the entrance indicating the hotel name, there are no directional signages leading guests to the hotel itself within the condominium complex, which can be confusing. The Noble Cebu is located specifically at North Tower A. During my visit, the building entrance was under construction, so one had to enter through the fire exit stairwell, next to the ground-level gym, to reach the reception area for check-in. The current set-up could be somewhat of a hassle for guests lugging around big luggage, so make sure to advise the hotel staff in advance of your arrival and request for assistance.

Amenities

Currently, the hotel offers 120 units within North Tower A of Grand Residences Cebu, which stands 35 floors tall, offering impressive of the city. Two room types are available: Standard Room and One-Bedroom Deluxe with floor areas of 20 and 40 sqm, respectively. The interior design is modern and sophisticated with an East Asian touch – the spacious reception area to the very rooms themselves, which also offer expansive city views from the balcony. Hotel guests are allowed to use the condominium amenities like the ground-level gym and the large outdoor swimming pool.

Dining Options

While the rooftop hotel restaurant is currently under construction, breakfast is delivered to the rooms in bento boxes. The plated meals were simple and tasty. During my stay, I was served chicken adobo, hotdog, omelette, rice and a small cupcake.

There are also a selection of fine restaurants and bars at nextdoor commercial complexes, 88th Avenue and Crossroads Mall, and standalone establishments like Tinder Box and Cafe Georg. There are more dining options at Cebu IT Park, which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel by passing through the pedestrian-only access road (V. Padriga Street) across Gov. Cuenco Avenue.

The entrance next to the East Towers leads to a residential area of Kasambagan with hole-in-the-wall restos and cafes like Alburs, Third Wave Coffee and The Daily Grind, to name a few.
